Haiti

Currently, our mission teams traveling to Haiti are focused on the rebuilding efforts. These specialized teams are invitation only, with limited team size due to the current conditions. We pray the opportunity for future teams will present itself as the rebuilding efforts continue.Come to Haiti and spend an exciting week working alongside New Missions at one of our 26 schools and churches. Our missionary team will prepare you for your experience with evangelism tools and cross-cultural materials, training you how to effectively minister in the poorest country in the Western hemisphere. They will link you with our Haitian pastors and their team of leadership and, together, your week will be focused on serving in the rural fishing and farming villages along the coast of Haiti. Your efforts in evangelism, construction, medical relief, education and serving others will make an eternal difference. The life that will be changed the most may be your own.

Trip Details

Why: One week trip to participate in evangelism and cross-cultural missions. You will be working with our 26 schools and churches, and thousands of students from pre-school through high school and Bible College.

When: 1st Saturday of every month

Where: New Missions “Mission Training Center” in Leogane, Haiti

Cost: $575 per person plus airfare

  • The cost of one week at New Missions in Haiti is $575 per person which covers food, lodging, trip insurance, a secondary health insurance policy to your current coverage and transportation between the New Missions base and the airport.
  • You are responsible for round-trip airfare from your point of origin.

Scheduling your Mission Trip

  1. Pick a month you would like to take your mission trip dates and call the U.S. office to confirm availability. Call now to reserve your spot as space is limited and trips do fill up quickly.
  2. Once you have confirmed your trip dates with the New Missions staff, make your flight arrangements, complete an application and return it to our U.S. office along with a $100 deposit per person and a copy of your flight itinerary, 60 days prior to your trip. Complete the online application form or download your One Week Missionary Application [Adult] [Minor] (Adobe PDF File). Mail the completed forms to: New Missions – PO Box 2727 – Orlando, FL 32802.
    All teams must fly on the flights that are indicated on the application form:
    • American Airlines flight #1291 from Miami, FL to Port-au-Prince, Haiti
    • American Airlines flight #816 from Port-au-Prince, Haiti to Miami, FL
  3. Once we receive your application and deposit, you will receive a New Missions Team Journal providing additional trip planning information. We will also include a New Missions T-shirt to wear during your travel to the country you will be ministering to.
